Football is over, time for 2009 Fantasy NASCAR

Posted by chadmusselman on February 2, 2009

Well, football is over and now it’s time for NASCAR to take over your Sundays! Chad’s Fantasy NASCAR is ready for the 2009 season and ready for you to sign up. Last year we had 50 people play, and Highlife won the championship, pocketing more than $110. Hopefully this year we can get more people to play with even larger payouts. Playing Fantasy NASCAR this year will cost $11.00 (same as last year). $10.00 of that will go directly into the prize pool, and $1.00 for administration fees.

The NASCAR season starts on Feb. 15th in Daytona, so you only have 13 days to sign up.

Recruit More Players
We want this to be a fun year with as much money in the prize pool as we can get, so we need your help to recruit as many people to play as you can. The more we get to play, the more fun it will be, so forward this mail on to anyone you know that would want to play. The goal is to have 60 players so we can have two or more leagues and get the payouts high.

How to sign up
Online with a Credit Card
o The credit card processing is secure and run through PayPal, so we never see your card number.
o If you played last year (Or started to sign up, but didn’t pay) you can use your existing id and password by logging in at (If you can’t remember your password there’s a “forgot password” link that you can use to have a new, random password mailed to you.)
o If you didn’t play last year and want to sign up, you can use this link:
o After you sign up online you will be able to start picking your drivers instantly.
o Any credits you received last year with the high point of the week award were carried over to 2009 and your price will be discounted accordingly.

Payouts will depend on the number of players. If we get over 50 players, then we’ll have multiple leagues, and the payouts will follow the structure explained on the website. After Daytona, the exact payouts will be posted.

The rules are simple. You get 4 drivers. How ever many points they score in the race is how many points you get. Easy! The only catch is that you can only have 1 driver on your team that made the chase last year. You’ll get trades each week, so you can change the drivers throughout the season. Here’s to another exciting season of NASCAR racing.
